Loved it, perhaps even more than Song of Achilles. Will definitely be picking it up again.

I ugly sobbed on an aeroplane, the reviews warning heartbreak do not exaggerate! The cat‘s POV is done stunningly- I could imagine easily that it‘s similar to how my own cats‘ thoughts might be ordered. At its heart, this is a love story that resonated with me harder than any romance, and made me think about being more honest with my own kitties.

Bizarre in the best kind of way. Beautiful and dream-like in places, heartbreakingly real in others. The innocence of the bears‘ POVs had me laughing out loud and crying, smiling and erupting in goosebumps in turns throughout.
