So far so good! Librarian friend told me about this series, and at first I thought Chris Colfer? THAT Chris Colfer?
Yes. That Chris Colfer.

Yes. That Chris Colfer.
I don't usually like short books that take place over many years (I want to know more!), but this one was about books (and other things too), so there you have it.
The Book Loft in German Village, Columbus, OH has got to be my favorite #getindie bookstore. 32 rooms!
Thought I was about to start a reading slump after giving up on my last two books, but then me and Dog started this book and things are looking up! Well, I'm reading, she's napping.
This was between "pick" and "so-so" for me. Not the kind of book I generally read, but I'd heard good things about it. Not bad, just not for me.
A modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice, this book was beyond entertaining. The most interesting part was seeing how things played out. I knew what was going to happen, but not HOW it would happen in 2013 Cincinnati. (I maaaaay have read at work to finish this one.)
I finished this a few days ago and kept forgetting to post. This is a story about magical bartenders mixing up magical drinks that give them super powers to fight evil creatures hilariously called "tremens."
I was about to get real loud for a second at the end but... This book. So much better than the first one (which I liked).
Only 145 pages in and I have some very strong feelings about Rhysand.
Look at how pretty this book is! A steampunk Peter Pan it seems. I'm so excited this was in my May Owlcrate Box!
Despite Dog's attempts otherwise, I finished this book! If you like any of his other books there's nothing to stop you from liking this one.
Less than 50 pages left!
This did not end how I thought it would. I read it all in one go (some chapters are one sentence and there's pictures), but it would have been nice to have more to the ending. I'm all about knowing everything at the end. Everything.
Getting read to stay up and read! I don't know how it took me so long to find this series!
Starting a new book and drinking tea. The story begins with a closet mushroom bursting spores into the air. We shall see how it goes from here...
Go read this book!! The only drawback was I was unaware that it was not a standalone so was quite sad when I realized I'd have to wait for the next book...
"I'll be proud for you." --Ronan Lynch
The book didn't seem quite as James Bond-y as the movie.
So. This book is pretty. But the ending... Everything kind of happened all at once and it didn't feel like enough attention was given to the important things. The main character has cancer but it was only kind of integral to the story? I don't know. Not a bad book and an easy read.
