I'm a traveler, I love art and reading, I'm an animal lover and my favorite genre is poetry. I am fueled by coffee and a will to get through the day.

This book is the 1st book that I have read that manages to take place in only 1 day. "The Sun is Also a Star" is a great read for those who can see life through different perspectives, managing to see beyond yourself and your place in the world. I am a huge fan on Nicola Yoon and her work has once again surpassed my expectations. If you see this book in a bookstore, grab it. read it. love it.

When We Collided | Emery Lord
Pickpick

A bipolar Marilyn Monroe 16 year old girl who lives her life to the fullest an always see the glass as overflowed. She falls for a guy who is part of a litter of kids that he takes care of, but she makes him feel real again. So touching.

Holding Up the Universe | Jennifer Niven
Pickpick

A book from 2 points of view of 2 very different people that manage to fall madly in love with each other. (Cliche much?) an overweight girl with a dead mom, a face-blind boy with a shorty dad, sounds like the perfect story to me!

OH.MY.GOD. John Green?! What have you done to my heart? I know pain demands to be felt but dammit this is just heart shattering. I couldn't finish for I broke down crying, couldn't bring myself to manage more pain.

Ask Me How I Got Here | Christine Heppermann
Pickpick

Such a poetic book about the reality of young love. It talks about heavy subjects in a light tone that makes us all understand and think about our views on these subjects. Truly a masterpiece.

We All Looked Up | Tommy Wallach
Mehso-so

A book that makes us think the age old question: "what would I do if the world were to end tomorrow?" But the topics kept changing and the storyline is hard to follow. May be more understandable to others.

Firsts: A Novel | Laurie Elizabeth Flynn
Mehso-so

Not a book for young ones that's for sure, but it does make you think about the whole debate of sexuality and the right age to explore it. A bit excessive though.

A book that shows us readers the true definition of beauty. A sense of empowerment that cannot be measured, for beauty is more than looks. I can't wait for her next book to come out.

Pickpick

A book that shows an intense love between a mother and daughter. The cliche bad boy next door is defined by a whole new meaning as the story progresses. I rate a 4.5 out of 5

This book can change the way you see the intersex community in today's society. This is a story that any person who has a heart can relate to in more ways than one. A spiritual, romantic, heart-wrenching, drama that is sure to make you not want to put it down.
