I've been revisiting #poetry lately to get inspiration for my own writings. Paint Me Like I Am is a collection of poems from the non-profit organization WritersCorps. All of the poems were written by teens from San Francisco, Bronx, and Washed D.C. I found it very inspirational; I haven't written much poetry since I was a teen and it reminded me of who I once was.

Some were great, others were...not.

I related to this so much.

I LOVED this book. I don't read a lot of biographies or non-fiction in general, but it's Carrie Fisher and Princess Leia was my first hero.

Not too bad for a Literary Theory book. I think it was well edited for the most part, but I think there could have been a better balance on the different theories and their interpretation.

I didn't mind this book. I've read it before, several years ago, and it seems a bit more dated now. I read it this go round for a paper on the evolution of romance novels through text.
