An excellent work of art that gives the reader an atmospheric and dreamlike world to explore. Every page seems like you are reading straight out of the author‘s mind, making it seem like a highly personal journey through Murakami‘s imagination and view on life. It‘s a very fun read, but not for everyone. The author allows the reader to interpret the meaning behind a lot of the strange occurrences in the book. Highly recommend if you like Murakami.

A great non-fiction book about the history of modern and contemporary art. Very informative and interesting facts about famous works of art and their artists without sounding like it came from a text book. Although the art discussed is often subjective, it is a good read for beginners who want to learn to appreciate art through its history.
