I am a fan of Rachel Caine, but having been keep up with her new releases. When Kevin Hearne pointed out the series, I was immediately interested. This is great story that drew me in from the start. The romance piece isn't as compelling as say her Weather Warden series, but it isn't bad. The rest of the plot is very engaging and I'm looking forward to the next book.
