I absolutely savored every sentence, every line, every description of this book. Beautifully written, complex story, intriguing plot and incredible depth to the characters. If you're not a devout fantasy fan, I'm not sure you would enjoy this book as much as I did. With that, there's something to be said about this amazing narrative the author has fantasticly put together.

The supernatural elements to this book drew me in like a moth to a flame. I thought this story was intriguing, exciting and sometimes kinda sexy. The main character was a joy to join though this story as well. And finally can I say, HOLY TWIST!! The ending left me absolutely flabbergasted!! just as soon as I though I had every thing figured out... just kidding!

This book had me on the edge of my seat! There was so many unexpected things that happened with the story and while we were left with a cliffhanger ending, I somehow left still feeling satisfied. I absolutely cannot wait for the next one to come!!!

P.S. I just finished this so I'm still freaking out a bit.

In this second installment, we follow Toby while she tries to solve a series of murders for her Liege. While some say this should have been an easy solvable case for Toby, I say that I think the Author did a fantastic job running us in circles; trying to figure out who the killer was. These books are such a pleasure to read, and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one!

A view on Witches (Brujas) though a different culture. The cast of characters we meet in this book are very interesting as well is Alex herself. I loved the journey we went on with the main character, not only was it entertaining, and wonderful to be enveloped in such and elaborate world, but we got to learn with Alex, about her life and the person she wants to become. I would defiantly dub this, a coming of age tale. Can't wait for more!
