Started reading this graphic novel for a book club & couldn't put it down. I am loving it! Starts with pre-teenage girls in 1980s decade just doing their early morning newspaper run & ends with them dealing with an invasion & time traveling. I am definitely going to continue this series ✌

Re-reading the Nightside series. I love the characters & the Nightside world Simon R. Green created. It's frightening, dangerous, & yet so alluring to the point where if it ever exists in real life I might visit it, against my better judgement.

I also love how the series turned out to be very different from how I imagined it after reading the 1st book.

Joe101214 The nightside series is amazing. I've read the whole series at least 10 times 7y
Kino83 Cool! I agree, it is amazing. I think one of the many reasons I came to love this series is the fact that I knew nothing about it when I first picked it up. So when I started reading it, everything was new & fresh for me. I'm now on book 4, have been listening to the audio books of this series and the narrator's voice, to me, sounds like I imagined John Taylor. Amazing. 7y

I am so happy that Jim & Dali get their own story! I wanted to know more about Dali & her relationship with Jim. I'm on chapter 2 and am loving it already.

I love that we get to know more of Andrea's past, personality, and feelings. I wanted to know more about her, and this novella was great for it. I also love that even though this is part of the Kate Daniels world, the atmosphere, narrative, etc was tailored for Andrea Nash. She was the protagonist here, and I loved it.

Now please don't misunderstand, I also love Kate Daniel greatly 💞

I couldn't stop laughing after reading this the first time. This is my 3rd read of the book, and I still laugh with this. God, I love this series.

When I finished this book one of the things I love the most was that the characters, especially Kate Daniel, are unique. Also, for a long time I had wanted to read about a different, truly strong heroine whose main focus was not romance or constant lust. I finally found her in this book 😀

Chachic Kate is awesome and her character grows and develops throughout the series. This is my fave urban fantasy series.💖 8y
Kino83 I agree! I am now reading book 5 of the Kate Daniel's series, and she has grown significantly. I can't wait to read the rest of the books. 8y
willreadforfeels The KD books are addictive! When I first got my hands on one I ended up marathoning like 7 books in a span of 3 days or so. 7y
Kino83 I know! I'm actually going to re-read the series and then catch up (I haven't read the last 2 books released of KD, nor "Wonder Boy" & Julie's book). 7y
