I adored this book and it made me ever so happy to read!

Loved being back in Garnet Run and seeing some past characters. Adored Bram! Such a sweetie! Struggled with Zach and wanted to change and develop more.

Definitely more mystery than romance but I was hooked on page one! MMC falls first FMC has sworn off relationships. It was like a true crime podcast with a romance and HEA.

Loved the premise and the narration... felt incomplete. So much steamier than her traditionally published stuff!

Too much plot? Possible. Too much steam? Nope. Could I have gone for more sweet moments between them!

My heart... I can't... it was amazing.

Not going to lie this one took me a minute to get into! I adore CMN‘s work and have been lucky enough to be a Patreon of theirs for over a year. (It is a blast!) But while I adored Vanessa and how feisty she is - Grayson really is a piece of work! Pure alphahole on every page. I struggled with that - as I don‘t get hate banging or enemies to lovers very often - but in the end I once again adored it and was left going… wait am I in to this?

Not my favorite of Ms Bev's but I can't wait for the rest of the series and to talk about it on Corset and Crown!

Trauma bonding, all the emotional caretaking, TALL and small action. Narrators are perfect for this!

SO. GOOD. Brilliant narrators - older woman/ younger man. Wanted more in the end though.

Wasn't my favorite of this author's backlist - I ended up wanting more of their emotional connection.
