Sinner was my favorite book of the first week of November. 💜📖💜📚💜
This is the second book in the Priest series. I loved book one, but this one was better. I was hooked from the beginning. I love how Zinny made Sean want to be a better person. His journey was incredible. The book is extra steamy, but it is wonderful prose and characters that make me want to give this one more than five stars. An incredible love story that I guarantee will pull at your heart strings. 5⭐️ #SeriesLove2024 @Andrew65
This was even steamier than the 1st, I don‘t know that it‘s a good thing, it bordered on “impossible for the human body” &the dirty talk (honest-girl/honest-guy thing?) was so cringe. Part of my dislike is likely that I find a lot of age-gap romances yucky, &while Sean Bell tried to give Zenny control -it‘s impossible under the circumstances.
That being said I liked Sean‘s character development, there were a few emotional scenes that humanized him
Me three days ago: “Look at this steamy af book - what a great read to get me through the first week of the school year!”
Me now - emotionally wrecked, questioning higher powers and all hot and bothered: “….Well… that didn‘t go to plan.”
I confess Sierra Simone is my guilty pleasure. Her books always have enough spice and romance and cocky alpha males to engage the reader. At first I thought Sean may be the least favorite of her hero‘s but he grew on me. This is a super spicy read so be aware. #romantsy #100readchallenge #readingchallenge2022
Well well well looks like season 4 is about witchcraft! #scarathlon2021 #teamhendrix @Clwojick @StayCurious
This novel is in the Priest series. Very well written! At first, I didn‘t love the hero but he grew on me.

Because I had the evening off (and completely lack self-control) I went ahead and plowed through the sequel to Priest: Sinner. Simone took everything she learned with previous books and applied them here. Sean and Zenny don‘t just engage in a “transgressive” (it‘s definitely less taboo than in Priest) relationship, but there is real character growth from Sean and real discussions about why one would choose a life committed to serving one‘s faith.
Here are my March Reads. I enjoyed everything I read this month but had 3 absolute favorites.
Favorite tropes at play and I am in love with this book already. #romance
