First, I love this special edition of American Gods which also includes Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. The book itself is a wondrous, crazy and incredibly deep tale. History, politics or socio cultural issues? This is the book - not always easy to read but it's worth the hours. Since Amazon is showing a tv series based on this book, I'm re-reading it again :)
