Sucked in to this as a booktok recommendation related to Lights Out. Not a lot in common between the two other than their “dark romance” genre.
It is quick read, heavier on the murder and mayhem than the romance, but what else would you expect when a bunch of serial killers meet for an island vacation with resort events catered to their hobbies?
All in all a good read, will be checking out the rest of the series.

Offers a B-side to every villain‘s story: the underlings doing the day-to-day work of keeping a villain in the business of villainy (despite said villain‘s poor managerial skills). This book was a great premise that I wish had been built out into a series with a bigger world of characters, like the Bigtime series by Jennifer Estep
