I needed a short read (or actually listen) after a couple of longer ones (Winter and 11-22-63 I'm looking at you...). I really liked it! It was short and funny and at the same time it made me think. Recommended for all ages.
Finally had time to read some in this book again. (Had to give it back to the library before I had a chance to read it) So far I am liking it! @Jessicah My favourite so far is the different characters that I get to know and hear the different viewpoints they have.
The fourth Armand Gamache book I've read in March 😀. I really like getting to know the characters deeply. Both the ones we know from previous books and the new ones!! Recommended!
"They were discovered wandering in the basement" ??
Quiet morning at my parents cabin. After five days with niece and nephews it is relaxing and a little bit sad that they are not here today. Enjoying book three in the Inspector Gamache series today. Hopefully the library will buy the rest of the series also, or I will just have to buy them myself.
My Easter mystery reading this year is Louise Penny's Armand Gamache. Now Dead Cold/A fatal grace. Really enjoying it so far. It is Norwegian tradition to read mystery novels during Easter. Is that a common thing other places as well?
It is so long - 734 pages. Long books have never bothered me before, but right now it feels like such a commitment. I am really liking it, but it is just long. And big. I don't think it will be prioritised when packing for my Easter vacation...
There are a lot of chapters in this book... 😃👍🏼 (71% in)
I listened to this on audio and really liked it once I got into who is who. Historical novel circling around a boy gone missing in 1933.
