It's a detailed delving into a fairytale: what do you do when the wolves come, and your world could destabilize? The pace is steady to the inevitable end; it shook me with its certainty. The book does not make you feel the characters. It lets you feel them.

A delightfully heartbreaking adventure with my favorite Star Wars character. I had to keep pausing to process; loved the depiction of Ahsoka's grief and guilt and how she finds some kind of footing in a galaxy that will be very bleak for decades. It was vivid. Also, did I spy a Chuck Norris reference!?!
