Fiction: Are there any connections between this book and your own life? How do
these connections help you understand the characters or the conflict?

Non-Fiction: What information surprised you in your reading? How can you use this
information in your life?

Lanisha T Fiction: Yes, one of the characters of the book I am reading (Throne of Glass) reminds me of one of my aunts. The character that reminds me bits and pieces of her is named, Celaena Sardothien. They are both very realistic people with intimidating personalities, but are both hardworking. This helps me want to understand the main character more in depth and get to know her to make connections with my aunt. 4y
julianna.garcia My book is fiction and the character Charlotte reminds me of my older cousins Sam and Alex. Charlotte is like a “parental figure“ to Lucie when they're on their trip to Capri for Lucies friend Isabels wedding. Charlotte keeps an eye on Lucie and making sure she is safe. It helps me understand the characters because I can relate to Lucie when she gets annoyed at Charlotte for being too strict on her. (Sex and Vanity by Kevin Kwan) 4y

After some research, I chose this book because it looked to be an interesting story about recovery from an accident.
This story was about a girl named Micky, who is recovering from a car accident. She goes about healing in a very unconventional way and it gets her in some trouble. Eventually the truth comes out, and Mickey has to deal with the reality of her situation.

How did you choose this book: I was going to Los Angeles and needed a book to read by the ocean. I came across this book in the airport bookstore.
Write a brief summary of the novel; who was the protagonist; what was his/her problem and how was the problem resolved?
