How did you choose this book: I was going to Los Angeles and needed a book to read by the ocean. I came across this book in the airport bookstore.

so-soI enjoyed this book, but it‘s definitely a lighter read, if that‘s what you‘re looking for. It made me laugh a little and had a bit of a surprise in it, with a twist on what happened. While it‘s not going to be a memorable book, I would probably try this author again.
pickA messy, dysfunctional family tale of three sisters who have endured much tragedy in their lives who go home for their great aunt‘s funeral even while hiding their own current rock bottom situations to each other, this was easy women‘s fiction with a few predictable plot reveals. pickI LOVED this tale of three very different sisters coming back together after the death of their aunt to sort thru the old home they grew up in with her-discovering old, buried secrets, learning about their family history, finding their way back to each other again. They‘d been hurt and gone their separate ways-as families sometimes do-and this story reads like a warm redemption tale with a mystery thrown in. Noblin‘s stories are so, so great.
Spring is coming and I didn‘t need Punxsutawney Phil to tell me. I‘ll be sitting outside near my daffies and reading this review book today. 😁
