Honestly, now that we know and love Molly and her entourage so well, I thought this novella was a fun way to add a little holiday detail to her story. It was adorable and just right for the season. Congrats to Molly and Juan Michael.
Themes: Christmas, A Short & Sweet Story
This was a sweet book that was just perfect for getting me in the Christmas spirit 🥰 I love the world Nina Prose has created with the Regency Grand Hotel and her characters: Molly, Juan, Mr. Preston, and the rest of them. I recommend this book, enjoy it along with a mug of hot cocoa, your favorite blanket and some Christmas jazz playing.
Short story full of Christmassy spirit :) Not so much a mystery, but fully Molly style
Meh. Short and cozy, but totally predictable. I much prefer the full length novels in the series.

So…this was somehow a mystery with absolutely no mystery to it. Its easy to figure out what Molly, our main character, is missing from the very beginning and it ended up just being another simple Christmas romance, which wasn‘t what I was expecting or necessarily wanting from the story. Where was the murder?! That being said it wasn‘t bad, I still enjoyed seeing Molly‘s interpretation of the world. In general just 🤷🏼♀️. 🌟🌟🌟
Finished my first book for #20in4, although I was well through it before the Readathon started.
Possibly because I haven‘t read the rest of the series I found this difficult to get into, and like most novellas not enough detail and depth in the book.

Utterly predictable but fun to see Molly and friends at Christmastime.
Soft pick for this one. I haven‘t read The Maid so this was a new author to me. Not quite what I expected - I expected crime, and got heart-warming. The mystery isn‘t very mysterious (except to the protagonist), but it‘s a sweet seasonal story
I‘m about 30 pages in, and honestly…it‘s a little lackluster so far. Molly‘s characterization seems overly simple to me in this one, and the same descriptions have already been used multiple times. Am I just being a Scrooge, or is this one just not quite hitting for others, too? #themistletoemystery #nitaprose #mollythemaid
This one had a very Amelia Bedelia vibe that I found harder to get behind. Maybe because there was no murder mystery 🤷♀️
This between the books novella was fun and the mystery was the twist. Cute and it‘s always good to spend time with Molly and the gang.

Finished this @ the Tampa airport while I was waiting for my flight home! A very cute novella! I love Molly‘s character! I‘m eager to read the new Maid novel coming out in April! I don‘t think you need to read the previous 2 books to follow it, but I definitely recommend them bc they‘re so good!! I have a soft spot for Molly bc she is on the autism spectrum (although it‘s not specifically stated) like me!
I felt slightly underwhelmed with this one, and maybe it‘s because shorter stories usually seem lacking to me. Poor Molly does not pick up on the clues that lead to the unveiling. But, fear not…the next in the series comes out in Spring 2025!
While I enjoyed this between the books novella, this is a series that I feel benefits from the novel-length story to flesh it out. It was fun to spend time with these characters, but it felt a little sparse, so a low pick for me. Once again, Lauren Ambrose is perfection as the audio reader.
This was the story that we needed about Molly the Maid. Molly is one of my favorite characters.
Molly truly has a very important mystery on her hands when she notices that her boyfriend, Juan Manuel, starts acting strange in the days leading up to Christmas. I think Molly is so relatable and so real. This novella was heartwarming and had me crying happy tears.
Thank you so much to the publisher for an advance copy of this novel via NetGalley!
I absolutely loved this novella in the Molly the Maid series...every single thing about it.
I love that it's centered around Christmas. I love that we get to see more of Molly as a child with her beloved gran, their traditions and their heartfelt moments. I love, love, love Juan Manuel in this one as we get to see more of his love and devotion to Molly. And I love that we don't have to contend with murder during ⬇️
Loved the new book by Nita Prose.
Molly the Maid has a whole new mystery to solve in this heartwarming novella from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Maid and The Mystery Guest.
A heartwarming, magical story about the true spirit of the season, The Mistletoe Mystery reminds us that love is the greatest mystery of all.
When I think of Molly the Maid, I think of a mystery. Nita Prose did a twist with ' The Mistletoe Mystery'. A mystery with a romantic twist at Christmas Time.
There's not a lot I can say about 'The Mistletoe Mystery ' without giving things away. I will say that Molly is head maid at the Regency Hotel still. Prose still makes her lovable and is really developing her. You will have to get the book when it hits bookshelves ⬇️
