Yet after watching the serie first I was expecting a bit more drama.
If you didn't watch the netflix series this book is amazing and for me it still is a great book. I really like how you read a lot of different perspectives at the same time. The writing style is really nice for us readers.

The way you read all different perspectives gives you almost a movie feeling. This book is not for you if you don't like crying while reading because I did so the last 50 pages. So beautiful!

pickThis was a great book. I like the little twists in the story and the multiple ways this story could go.
I love how Rick Riordan manages to add so many gods and mythological figures to the story. It makes you want to learn more about them.
I don't know it's my favorite from this storyline but it comes close.

pickLoved the book. I really like how Daphne represents how smart yet unknowing someone can be.
I enjoyed how Julia Quinn made sure to represent different kinds off love. The love from a friend, partner, a mother and even brothers.
But simon had seen Anthony's point, and Simon had told Daphne that he wanted her to find a suitable husband.
And so Simon stayed away.
And Daphne was miserable

The book is amazing. This book gives real emotions happy and sad. I love how they both grow so much in one day. Also the way it was written makes it so easy to read. You get to be in the mind of each character wich allows you to feel more in touch with them.

pickI love the book! It's better detailed than the film was. I love how Percy has a lot of character development and learns to love his "imperfect" new friend!

pickIt was a refreshing book with a different approach to what life means. The book changed the way I deal with situations and it made me a better person. For myself but also for the people in my life.
The desire for more positive experience is itself a negative experience. And, paradoxically, the acceptance of one's negative experience is itself a positive experience.
