NF Se�orita Mariposa | Ben Gundersheimer 2019 This book shows you all about the migration of monarch butterflies to Mexico. This book has both English and Spanish throughout the entire book. The illustrations are breathtaking with a hint of cartoon through the actual pictures. This book also shows the life cycle and is overall an amazing book.

NF Funny Bones: Posada and His Day of the Dead Calaveras | Duncan Tonatiuh 2015
This book shows lots of the traditions of the Day of the Dead and some of the preparation it takes to fulfill this celebration. This book also embraces you within Mexican culture showing you so much about why they do this and the things that keep this holiday alive.
Would be great for upper elementary learning about volcanos or other natural disasters. I think some kids would really love this book.
NF Volcano: The Eruption and Healing of Mount St. Helens | Patricia Lauber 1987. If you love volcanos this book is for you. This is an in-depth book looking at how Mount St. Helens eruption affected the surrounding areas and what it took for it to grow back and heal. This book has live photographs and is filled with facts. There even is different sections about different parts of the eruption
This would be a great book for like a preschool classroom and then maybe study different tools or do a little building project that they could gift to someone.
NF-A Girl Can Build Anything | Pat Zietlow Miller, e.E. Charlton-Trujillo 2023. This book is about all the different things a girl can build. it also breaks down all of the different tools you could use. This book has bright vibrant pictures that show the diversity and amazing details with different tools hidden in the pictures. This would be an amazing book for younger kids to read to show how you can do things you never expected.
I would use this in my class to show how differences can make us unique and allow us to be ourselves, even though we might not be the same as everybody else it‘ll be a great learning lesson for everybody

You'd Be Home Now by Kathleen Glasgow, is a story told through a little girls eyes, when her family get into a car crash. Her brother is addicted to drugs and ends up being in rehab and is gone for 3 months. Once he comes home they have to re adjust to his presence, but the family puts up a front as if nothing happened.
I would use this book to teach about overcoming social pressures. Students can see how Minerva accepts her true personality.
