Fablehaven | Brandon Mull, Brandon Dorman

Fiction: The character that taught me the most is Kendra. She taught me the most because of her curiosity throughout the book. Even though she's smart, she still had inquiries and questions about her grandparents' house due to the weird things that were happening there. Kendra taught me to not be afraid of not knowing specific things. She made me realize that it is okay to have questions and not be embarrassed by the lack of knowledge you possess.

Fiction:Based on what I have read so far, Seth Sorenson (one of the main characters in the novel) taught me to be a risk-taker. He risked his life to go through the woods even though it was prohibited by his grandpa. His journey through the woods has been nothing but fun and adventurous. He discovered things in the woods that were peculiar such as the “large square of ivy“ he stumbled upon. I want to explore things that would require taking risks.

Fiction:The connection between this book and my life is the personality of Seth Sorenson. Seth is very curious like me. He took the risk to go through the forest which was forbidden according to his grandpa. I wouldn't do something as risky as the decision he made just because of my curiosity. If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't go through the forest because I know the consequences I'd have to face after my grandpa finds out about it.

SSsean This book is mainly about two step sisters who went on a four day vacation at their friend's lake house. Their names are Hannah and Katie. They don't usually get along that well. Jacob (Hannah's best friend) invited Hannah to his parent's lake house in Michigan, Dreardon Lake. In the beginning, Hannah was getting jealous of the fact that Jacob and Katie seemed to like each other. Hannah had a teeny tiny crush on Jacob so she had the right to envy (edited) 5y

Their names were Alessandra, Colin, Raj, Prandya, and Nick. Is the lake actually haunted or is there someone behind all these shenanigans?
