Fun to read and great environmental theme. But a bit dated - zero POC characters, as far as I could tell, not even a single Spanish name in a story set in SOUTH FLORIDA. Also basically calls some of the questionable female adults in the book 'ugly' - let's not teach middle school boys to do that.
