We read this book in our homeschool. It was very entertaining and was really good at showing the differences between Athens and Sparta

This book about did me in. Well written, heartbreaking, beautiful

Allthebookclubs It‘s midnight where I live and I‘ve just finished it. I‘m crying and my heart aches. I know this is fiction but I know these kinds of war stories are laden with truths. 5y

I'm trying to read more classics and I'm happy I read this. So well written and searches the effects of the human soul and vanity.

I did enjoy this book but having read it a couple weeks ago I already didn't remember what it was about so not overly memorable but it was a good fast paced thriller.

Bklover I think I liked it, but I can‘t remember a single thing about it either! 5y
Soulthisty63 @Bklover if you haven't read behind closed doors by her that's the one I recommend. I actually think it's the best thriller I've read 5y

This was a great book to add to our homeschool lessons taking place during the reign of King Hezikiah and helped me to understand the culture.
