Reading this book is feeling like a chore to me and I don't understand why. I'm loving everything about it so it's definitely nothing to do with the book. It's like when you're in a munchie mood but the snacks wrong and you can't figure out what the actual craving is. I've never felt like this with a book. 😔

Getting a headache from the tiny font of An Education in Malice so I think I'll stop to read something a little easier on the eyes.

It's been on my shelf since it came out. Now that there's 3 of them maybe I should actually read it 😂

Received an advanced copy of this. Not one of my usual genres but I'm trying to branch out.

I love that this is considered a kids book. It's very smart unlike the educational literature that I grew up with in the 90's. People are realizing now that children can comprehend more than the watered down content of my youth! #forensics #science #history #nonfiction

Fairy Tale | Stephen King

Reading Stephen King's Fairy Tale while listening to a corresponding playlist on Spotify. Such a magical experience. Usually I feel it's a chore to get through the sometimes overly descriptive beginnings of his novels for the brilliance you know is there when you get to the meat. Put the music with the details and it changes the feel. I felt like I was there with Charlie. I may have to look for playlists for all of my books now. I'm a believer lol
