Finally was able to start on this gorgeously-covered book i got for my birthday. It's not exactly one of my typical reads, but it's interesting to branch into a different type of mystery novel. Just have to see how it progresses!

I'm back! Things have been really crazy and the Spring semester at college was no joke. But now that it's summer, and I'm only taking two online classes, I'm hoping I'll get to get back to reading from my long TBR list along with a bit of Shakespeare for my classes. 😊 Its good to be back.

5/5! This book was seriously amazing. After my initial cringing at the few (3 or 4) book errors, I totally couldn't get enough of this story. I loved the characters, especially the main character Lucy, and the story's not-so-typcial, somewhat scientific approach to romance I found to be very refreshing and original. A highly recommended college read!

3/5. I actually really enjoyed this book overall. It had a great plot, storyline and unique point of view, and I definitely found favorites among some of the characters. But in the realm of mystery, it was far too predictable who the bad guy was in the end, and just felt that after certain surprising reveals it went a little downhill on content.

In celebration of my 21st birthday, I thought I'd talk about one of my favorite books. I read it at least 3 times and it blew my mind each time. The characters are wonderfully complex, the book format addicting, and the story unlike any I've ever encountered to this day. I enjoyed the entire series, including the novellas, but this one was by far my favorite. Hats off to Tahereh Mafi for writing such a badass book.

"You're can have the wire back"
This book has some of the funniest and bizarre characters that I've encountered in a novel for class. ? Glad that I've gotten to read it for my Native American Novel class.

LOVED this book. Katie McGarry continues to outdo herself with this first novel in the Thunder Road series, and I'm not so looking forward to getting my hands on the next one. Will definitely be a repeat read for me in the years to come 😊. #BKLovesLitsy #favauthor
