Sons of Anarchy × West Side Story × YA
Family isn't always what we think, sometimes it's more than blood. I absolutely loved the step-dad in this book. That role is often given negative traits, so this was a nice change.

I really enjoyed this book. The suspense of it captured me. I wanted to know the big secret and why everyone was always on edge. It disappointed me when I found out. I understand wanting to keep her safe from the “life“, but having her grow up to feel the way she felt in the beginning was wrong on so many levels. This book made me laugh, cry, angry, and even left me confused. I highly recommend you read this book if you have not already.
⭐️⭐️💫A decent tale but the runaround of secrets dragged the story down and made the characters annoying at some point or another. I found the motorcycle club details to be most interesting. Can‘t deny that I kept picturing scenes from Sons of Anarchy.
This is my first book by this author and I thought it was ok. I would have liked it more but I felt the whole secrets and lies to be annoying. And then the big reveal of what every one was hiding was lame. After all the fan fare of making sure no one told Emily the truth about her parents the reveal fell flat.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Starbucks reading. #LitsyPartyOfOne
I‘ve been wanting to read more MC books and this was just what I needed. I find MC‘s to be so fascinating. I loved learning about their world and how they operate.
Eli reminded me so much of FP Jones from Riverdale. Both are biker dudes who will stop at nothing to protect their kids.
I liked the romance even though it was a bit cliche.
I‘m looking forward to reading the rest of the books and finding more out about the other characters.

Book 14. After being slightly disappointed but the third book in the series I couldn't get the first one out of my head, so I did a reread and it was just as good the second time!
Is this the absolutely best book I've ever read? No. Did I sometimes 🙄at certain plot points or dialogue? You bet I did. Still, this was a case of the right book at the right time. Spending a few days immersed in Emily and Oz's young love story was a good escape. I enjoyed this on audio, although the narrators' voices sometimes sound a bit old for the characters. And since escapism is the name of the game for me, I'm on to the next in the series.
LOVED this book. Katie McGarry continues to outdo herself with this first novel in the Thunder Road series, and I'm not so looking forward to getting my hands on the next one. Will definitely be a repeat read for me in the years to come 😊. #BKLovesLitsy #favauthor
I can't even tell you how much the characters irritated the hell out of me. 150 pages in and I just had to skip to the end. The story seems to be well written and easy to read--I did read 150 pages in a few hours--but it's the characters that ruined it for me. 🔥🔥
Audio YA porn. Sometimes I need a mindless, steamy, improbable, sex-filled book. Sometimes I choose books based on covers. Sometimes the fine print should be read. OMG it's a teen harlequin book. Sons of Anarchy but no 1% , prodigal virgin daughter, bad boy horn dog, and sins of the parents. Why?
Got a new signed copy of "Nowhere but here" in the mail, and now I have two of this gorgeous book!
took me two weeks to finish this book. It was a struggle. This book offered a lot of potentials but unfortunately it lacked on so many levels. Full review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/1223957648?book_show_action=false
