“The world was her manuscript. No surface was safe.”
The perfect combination of flashback story telling, intricate relationships, and murder mystery.

“The human body is a delicate, amazing creation. It takes almost nothing to completely destroy it, and yet it takes a lot. Most of us manage to stay on the planet, in our bodies, for seventy or eighty years, all of us amassing scars along the way, each one with a story.”
“Allan woke up and wondered whether it wouldn't soon be time to go to.”
A sweet novel about three unexpected friends navigating loss, love, and new seasons of life in an attempt to discover the true meaning of happiness: acceptance, forgiveness, and a great cup of tea.
Sadly, predictable and thoughtless. A great highlight of outdated norms, somehow approving toxic dating culture, pseudo stalking, gaslighting, and blackmailing strategies to make a woman fall in love with a narcissistic man. Pass on this one, ladies.
Incredibly honest, terrifying, and hopeful all at the same time. Took a break from fiction lately, and boy, this was a reality check. It reminded me of how wide the world is and how much we have in common. Here‘s to always asking questions and finding some answers.
“Because once we feel, know, and dare to imagine more for ourselves, we cannot unfeel, unknow, or unimagine. There is no going back.”
A lovely, charming palate cleanser! A light read that serves as a reminder that life is not always what it seems. So much can be distorted by our own perception or bias, when we‘re all just trying our best to be happy. I‘ll take some time today to offer extra grace to those around me 😌
“Shout out to all the girls who apologize too much.”
The Spanish Love Deception was a classic chick lit novel with a spicy ending. I liked the concept of the plot but felt the characters‘ chemistry and development fell short. I also found the setting lacking in description, which constantly left me wondering, “Wait where are they? What does it look like?” I had high hopes for this one and feel disappointed with what could have been a real “must-have” - 3/5 ⭐️
“I‘m under absolutely no obligation to make sense to you.”
