Perfect Match | Jodi Picoult
Pickpick

Lots of surprises in this book. Based upon Nina, a prosecuting attorney whose young son is sexually abused. I‘d want to do just what she does without the oopsie she makes.

This was a great trilogy, my fathers favorite. It is a wonderful western, full of adventure and suspense. It shows the toughness of the early pioneers, the one with nature gift of the border men and the ways of the Indians! It‘s understandable the violence of the IndiansThe Zane family were early pioneers headed west, building small communities with army soldiers. I don‘t think they realized the Indians fear of losing their home and way of life.

This book made me wish I personally knew this couple! What a way to live life-focused on God and his family first and foremost. Made me question my purpose in life. Made my longing for God stronger. Made me want to join their team!

Another enjoyable book by Francine Rivers! Hard to put down. Proves even the lost kids can find their way in this world and share their God given gifts.

Every Breath | Nicholas Sparks
Pickpick

As usual Nicholas Sparks‘s has a way to touch the heart with likable characters you want to get to know. Not as heart wrenching as most of his books. An easy few hour read.

Dutch Wife (Original) | Ellen Keith
Mehso-so

This book is based on actual events. It combines 2 different stories from different time periods. I would have preferred just 1 story, the WWll story. I‘m sure politically there is a connection or common thread to the 1970‘s story based in Argentina but I am unaware of those facts. It bounces between 3 main characters. It was not a bad read and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction.
