Loved this book. Great writing and an uplifting story. Will definitely be reading more from this author.

I am unfamiliar with this author, so I was unprepared for the emphasis on religion. I practice spirituality. I was drawn to this book for the subject of art. The artist, Roman Velasco, reminded me of Bansky in the beginning. Roman started out anonymously painting graffiti and worked to avoid capture by the police. Anyway, this quickly becomes a love story between Roman and his personal assistant and life changing events. #MountTBR

When this came out I was so excited! She is my favorite author so I was not let down when I read this book.
I have loved Francine Rivers‘ books for years. She is without a doubt, one of the finest Christian Fiction authors out there. However, I was highly disappointed in this book. The plot was incredibly predictable. You kept hoping you weren‘t correct about what was coming next, but you were. It‘s a nice enough story, but does not reach the heights of “And the Shofar Blew.”
He's deep water and i don't know how to swim.. Grace Moore, Master piece by amazing writer Francine Rivers.

Highly recommend. This is a wonderful story about two people that grew up in damaged family circumstances. The story relates how the two grew and changed. Reading about their growth as Christians was inspiring.
Another enjoyable book by Francine Rivers! Hard to put down. Proves even the lost kids can find their way in this world and share their God given gifts.
Quick stop yesterday at BN before we headed to the casino! A new book and new Pops! Im so excited about the Pops i got! 🙃
Not as good as River‘s earlier works but never-the-less a page turner!
Another one down in a weeks time. I cannot get enough ❤️
Finished this late last night as the first #readingwithfriends book of 2019. And as always, this was beautiful!
😍😍😍
Our past does not define us, what we do with our future is what matters!
First book I read in full since getting run over by a car back in November. Grateful for the ways it pointed me to remember that love wins and my Father in Heaven loves me, I needed that!!
Our "reading-with-friends" books for the year! The tagged book was already drawn for Jan!
In the back of the book, “A Note From The Author” explains exactly what I was hoping this book would be. but it missed the mark 😭 I also wish my girl, Francine, would go back to historical fiction. I think part of it is that I just have such high expectations for Francine Rivers that I get disappointed if the book isn‘t life changing lol 🤷🏻♀️
I was definitely entertained, but in a cheap way. No doubt that Francine Rivers is a talented writer, but I thought the characters relied too heavily on stereotypes and were pretty superficial. And the plot was convenient. It‘s just a fantasy, which is fine, but I felt like her talent could have made it more.
Has anyone heard of this book, The Masterpiece by Francine Rivers?? It sounds like a contemporary romance, and the cover art is just BEAUTIFUL 😍 #mountTBR
My library haul. My Nana loves her writing and recommended this one to me. It's a 14 day loan so I better get cracking!!!
Wow. Just wow. Loved the depth of the flawed characters. Favorite book read this year.
Wonder if this book is as good as it is beautiful? #coverart #coverlove #cover
I normally really love Francine Rivers, but I was sorely disappointed in this book. I disliked the main character, Grace, immensely, and found the story to be way too long and drawn out. I thought Grace was incredibly unlikable and couldn't figure out what Roman saw in her. Most of their actions ring false to me and unrealistic. Such a bummer I didn't like this, I usually love everything she writes. 😔 2.5⭐️
I enjoyed it but found it a bit long at the end. Francine has a wonderful voice in her writing that displays a personal relationship with God very well in the characters
Not my normal type of book but Redeeming Love is one of my all time favorites so I had to try out her new one. This Christian-based novel did not disappoint. I may have cried my eyes out a time or two. (Also, I can‘t figure out how to tag a book in the comments so if anyone could tell me that would be great! Haha)
Normally I love Francine Rivers' books. She only has a new one come out once every 2 years or so. I was super excited to get this chunkster from the library. Sad to say I'm very disappointed so far and I've been slogging through it for 2 days already and am only halfway done. 😪I still plan to finish it, just might be taking a break for a few days to read A Man Called Ove before my hold expires. Sigh.

#TBRtemptation post 1! Set for a February release. Successful LA artist Roman Velasco has money, women, and fame. But he has demons of his past haunting him. He fends them by being graffiti artist The Bird at night. Only his new personal assistant, Grace, is aware of what he's fighting. They'll find that their pasts come together, and their lives may never be the same again. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
