This was in the news recently about being pulled from a school curriculum bc it made the students uncomfortable 🙄. I meeaannn 😒. This Snowflake epidemic is disastrous. People straight up melt over any opposition to their worldview. To learn, grow, tolerate differences and diversity is 2 examine the other narrative. Include all sides of the story for an honest account. Real life IS uncomfortable, for change does not come from a place of comfort.

Picked this back up today! We've resettled into our rhythm abroad after our travels home to the states this summer. I love my fiction reads to escape and imagine and my non-fiction reads to remind and humble.

After the insane Presidential elections, I removed my jaw from the floor and decided, among other things, to better understand the demographic that 45 won over so decidedly: working class White Folk. Before finding some more contemporary characters (This is set in 1906) I was drawn to this goody.
