It's taken me awhile to write this review, simply because this book is still constantly replaying in my head. I've read it 3 times already. This may sound dramatic, but it's simply the best book I have ever read. Every single person, be it male or female, needs to read this book. This book needs to be passed down to your children, your children's children. Hell, read it to your dog. These words must be devoured, and they must never be forgotten.

I can't even begin to describe how much this book moved me. This genre isn't normally one that I read; I simply saw it in Barnes and Noble and took a chance. I'm so grateful for that chance. I read about history, love, hardships, and the broken relationship between sisters. I cried, I laughed, I clapped with joy, I gasped in horror. I felt. That's what anyone can ask for with a book. I highly recommended this novel.
