Pickpick

Wonder shows the story of a boy named August, he has facial differences which sets him apart from other kids. We follow August‘s fifth grade year, this was the first year he was at a “real school” since he had been homeschooled the majority of his childhood. He is severely bullied but he also forms friendships! If you like books that are tearjerkers, yet heartwarming then you‘ll like this one.

abbey.johnson Wonder is written in first person point of view. The author told the story not only through August‘s point of view but also many others. She did this to provide more insight into August‘s life and his situation. 5y
