Overall, The Last Star wasn't so bad, but it definitely was not my favorite of the series. I was expecting this to be a fantastic book to end the series, but it turned out to be an over action-packed, confusing, and disappointing story. I feel Yancey tried too hard to make the book interesting and thrilling, and it ended up being waaay over the top and very confusing.
