pickThe beginning was really strange. I didn't really like Claire (to naive) and Danny was a bit to flirty for the beginning (and he has a girlfriend!). Also I miss the ending of her family conflict and the bakery. Would have been interesting. But the end was really cute and afterwards even surprising

pickI just finished 'Who runs the World?' by Virginia Bergin. It's a story about a future without men. Fifteen year old River hasn't thought about men and women until she finds Mason, a runaway boy. At first boys were represented as the evil guys and Bergin repeatedly showed this with the words 'Man. Men. Murder. Guns. War. Kill'. But after a while River discovers the truth about the male gender. I enjoyed the book but it didn't have this wow moment.
so-soI thought it was really confusing with all the "special prints" which were amazing but not helpful at all. There were two emotional scenes but the rest wasn't that good. #unpopularopinion

I really liked the whole story behind it and it's an amazing work by the author to get the feeling of Mallory's and Rider's past if you know what I mean. The emotions were really intense but unfortunately only on the last 50 pages and before it kind of was 'annoying' (not the right word...). But all in all I enjoyed it!
