This cover! 😍
I've had four people suggest this on the basis that "You'd really like Waren." So...here we go. I didn't get far before due to the writing style (all the crossed out parts distract me and hurt my head ???) but after looking at a few reviews just to get a better idea of what to expect story wise, I'm excited to see what happens!
Finally back to this one! I plan to finish at least this one and Little Women by the end of the year.
...I still don't trust Kael, and what have you done to my poor Crew! 😍😟😰
#dystopian #lovetriangle 🤷
Hmm...not sure I like this 'love-interest' but I'm intrigued by the story concept and plot so far!
Just finished Prince of Shadow and Ash by Selena Gonzalez.
#currentlyreading Whisper of the Tide by Sarah Tolcser, may end up reading Staff of Nightfall (The Mercenary & the Mage 2) after I review the first book. 🤷😅
What are you reading?

Ariadne from Renee Dugan's Darkwind! I adore this series, Ariadne is such an interesting and mysterious character! Reminding me of a combination of Astrid from #HTTYD and #Mulan, and maybe Amren from #ACOMAF too, while still being her own character, and I can't wait to read her story! I highly recommend Darkwind #1 of The Starchaser Saga and Dawnstar #2 releases June 23, 2029 😍😍

"But that's ridiculous ... Isn't it?
He is an assignment—nothing more."
The Reluctant Assassin (The Order of the Moonstone # 1) by JC Morrows (@jcmorrows)
Ah, I'm so glad I found this book! I actually won a giveaway, and could chose between this and Darkwind...of couse I stuck with my original choice of Darkwind for the prizepack, but offered to review this as well...TCC is such a fun read! I loved Nicolai, Tessa, and Moe, but really, I loved nearly ALL of the Deathless characters(like #Fae). It reminded me strongly of #Caraval in feel and a bit like #ACOTAR's Under The Mountain trials! 😍
Ah...MAZ...ING After The Hunger Games, I've discovered I have adopted a phobia of...endings! 😱😭 So when I say I read this ARC as soon as I got it, finished in 24hours, and loved every minute, so much I started rereading Reactive (book 1) right after...I never reread, but it is so so goid, and I wasn't ready to move on! (BTW, I'm loving Reactive EVEN MORE the second time, who knew?!) Funding all those foreshadowing clues is so fun!
I loved this book! Er...well, mostly. I liked parts better than others, likely due to preference of a certain character, but overall a great read, and even better than the first book! I highly recommend this series, it's one of my favorites! #yadystopian #yadystopianromance #thehungergames #divergent #therhodisaga (aesthetic based on a side-character introduced in Adaptive: Yukiko)
"In every city, a hooded figure seemed to appear at the edge of the crowd, usually at the end of the day. It always made her think of Aaden, but every time, some gait or mannerism proved it couldn‘t be him. It had been five weeks since he left the palace. His parting words often swam through her mind at all hours of the day." River Gate #5
I just finished this series, and immediately started a reread! There's a more official readalong going on over on #Bookstagram, with the chance to win signed copies of all three! Thus series is easily one of my Top Favs, and most definitely my favorite YA #Dystopian Romance! Think #TheHungerGames type genre) I rarely reread, and never so soon, but I love this series, and at the end found I just wasn't ready for it to end just yet! #theelitetrials
While I didn't enjoy the love triangle in this one much, and struggled a with character consistancy, I did enjoy reading this, and am even more excited to see what happens next in their story! The mystery, and YA scifi/paranormal were spot in, and I loved seeing the mystery unfold as the story does. #whisper #thehungergames #divergent #ireadindie #dystopian #lynettenoni #beckymoynihan #theelitetrials #indiebook #indiesareworthit #supportindies
😍 look at that cover! I was so happy to find this series, and it's such a fun read!
Reading the last 100 pages, and I'm curious what's in store. I'm pretty sure I know the ending (I think...) but it's the getting there that anything can happen XD
Happy book birthday to this Robin Hood retelling!
I love mythology, so this was an easy pick, but whoa was I in for a treat! I was absolutely blown away and can't wait for book 2 to come out! Definitely one to check out for YA/NA Greek mythology readers!
Slowly getting ready to move while I wait on some answers before turning in my paperwork to make my move official.
Just finished reading a few of these, and reading through the others. This year has already brought so many exciting stories, and like these above, I'm hoping to read more amazing titles as the year goes on! (The book tagged isn't out yet, and I only have an excerpt/sample, but I've been excited about it for a while, and so far love it)
#coverlove Have you seen this one yet? I'm excited to read it!
Working on getting caught up on overdue reviews! 😓😏 Hoping to get caught up again so I can enjoy more books that I've not been able to get to yet. 😍💝😎
After the difficulty it took for this book to reach me, I'm really hoping it's good.
Can't wait to read Alane Adam's latest book!
I'm mixed on this one, I hoped for a good YA mystery/thriller but this isn't as exciting as I'd hoped. Still it's entertaining.
I'm torn on this one, I originally rated it 5 stars, since I did enjoy it, especially seeing some of the past Queens... But then I realized it wasn't as good as the first two... I enjoyed it, but it will missing the emotion and urgency of the first two, and I ended up somewhat bored and/or confused in some parts...Plus in the first two I knew who I was rooting for...now I don't know what I want to happen to my favorite characters...
I'm alive! Staying at my grandma's for a bit to help her with some housework. Things have been good, but not really getting anywhere in the work/school/etc side of things, but we do have a plan and know what the next steps are, so hopefully I can get a plan soon. Otherwise been keeping busy with housework both at my grandma's and at my parents house, and helping Mom with the kids. (My brother and sister who are homeschooled)
*sigh* Good news is my meds are helping, so I'm doing better. Bad news is that my Dr., Theripest, and the Voc Rehab people are all giving me conflicting advice. Looks like I'm likely going to have to live on my own, but my anxiety isn't liking the idea.
So good! This is one of those that pulls me in from the beginning! I loved the characters and who doesn't love a good pirate story?
Sorry I haven't been very active. I've been at my mom's house, so no wifi, the last few months. I'm trying to get my mental health straighten out and get stable, but it's a slow process. Good news is I'm feeling a lot better, but I'm having to take it one day at a time. I'm still able to stay active on my blog, but I will probably only be able to check on here a few times s month until mom gets wifi. (Hopefully soon!) Thanks for the patience! 😆
I...I wanted to love this one, but the story was...Okay? But the pictures? Now those deserve a star in their own right, so 4 stars.
Eh... I loved the characters, but after the first book, this one didn't impress me as much. Still the ending makes me hopeful about the next one!
I...Need...More! I absolutely loved this one, and am super excited I get to return to this world for more adventures!
This one was so-so. I had hoped to love this one, but it just served to remind me why I try to avoid ya contemporary romances.
Another Dickens book that I enjoyed. I wasn't happy that the nephew had to throw in a jibe against Christians and the true meaning of Christmas, but overall I loved the characters in this one!
I enjoyed this one. I didn't love it due partly to numerous spelling and punctuation errors, and in part because I'm uncomfortable with the way the author used and paraphrased the Bible, but otherwise it was a fun read, and the last half of the book made it all worth it!
I just picked this one up on a whim, but really enjoyed it! I can't wait for the second book to come out!
Starting this weekend, I'll be away for a week to house sit for my parents. Since we have a ton of pets (literally a small farm) I will be staying with my sister to take care of the animals. My parents don't have wifi(yet) so I won't be able to check in, but I still plan to get tons of reading done, so I hope to be back with a few reviews!
Happy Reading!
I never know what I'll get on these. The first two is always IN (83% introvert!), but the FT and JP switch out sometimes 😂These results were slightly surprising! I must be more observant lately as my N/O was 66% F/T 61% and J/P 65% and unsurprisingly A/T was 82% though it's the first time I've seen the last letter used normally it's #intp #intpt

My current read, (or listen) and my TBR on OverDrive
I received a copy for an audiobook tour. This one was more romance than mermaid (siren) story, but I did enjoy it. Kate and Gabe have a beautiful bond from the beginning, and the surprise twist, while predictable, only served to show how strong their bond is.
