Everyone should read this book. I was raised in a conservative household and was taught that abortion was a sin. Well, over the years I have become more pro-choice and feminist. This book was eye-opening for me. Dr. Wicklund tells of her work providing reproductive health services to her patients and their stories. It is infuriating to read about the barriers that women face to get the care they deserve imposed by those who claim to be pro-life.

My favorite book thus far in 2018. It is the story of Mr. Bones, a mutt, and his master, Willy G. Christmas. He is a troubled homeless poet, in and out of his mother's home. Mr. Bones is his constant companion. His mom dies. On his last legs, Willy and his dog travel to Baltimore, where we hope his high school English teacher still lives. Omg. This book is so good. Wow.

Biff, Joshua's (his real name; Jesus is the Greek version) friend is brought back to Earth to tell his irreverent tale. I liked Josh's humanness. He lives through Biff's experiences. He can't sin but wants to know what it feels like. He isn't hearing from his father and he turns to Biff for advice. In search of answers, they seek out the magi (the missing 18 yrs). It's one hell of a journey. Very funny at times, but I finished feeling unsatisfied.
