The Throne of Glass series is my absolute all time favorite series. After jumping on the band wagon and reading ACOTAR I had high hopes for this, but was blown away. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants to get lost in a fantasy world for weeks on end.

3.5/5 A beautifully written and compelling story, and a masterful twist on Shakespeare. This book is one of a kind. The tone of this book is very dark, filled with jealousy, obsession, and sacrifice. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes psychological thrillers or murder mysteries, it truly is a page turner.

4/5 This book was engaging & emotional. You walk through the tales of people who would give anything for one last conversation, and are left to think of your own life and the moments that slip by. Although this book was well written and compelling, it was also a bit predictable. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a quick, cozy read.

4/5 The Roaring 20‘s meets Moulin Rouge - infused with magic, twists, and romance. This book was an awesome fantasy read, and the world building of the island of Charmant was incredible for a stand alone novel! I would recommend this to any fantasy fans who want a quick read without having to dive into a new series. There were moments when my jaw dropped, and moments that left me thinking about them hours after.
