I love this book, even though it's taken me 2 months to reach capter 4. I can't really have a solid opinion yet but it seems pretty good so far.

This is a good book, If a bit slow at first. I tried reading it a while back, but sort of gave up after the first chapter. However, I tried it again later and it was actually an excellent book! I'm about halfway through and enjoying it tremendously.

MrsBabki I agree! I liked it, but found it a dense read. I thought I would be a fast paced read - it wasn‘t for me. 5y

#3 High schooler Micheal Vey lives a normal life, but with a big secret. He was born electric, and can shock anything he touches (or anything that is connected to him by metal). His life was normal other than that, and no one other than his best friend Ostin knew up until the school bullies jumped him and he had to shock them in front of a cheerleader. He then comes to know that the cheerleader, Taylor, also has powers, the power to wipe and read-

creampiss (Continued in comments) minds, and the three of them (Micheal, Taylor, and Ostin) uncover a giant conspiracy about their births, how they got their powers, and other children with powers like them. They end up traveling the country with Micheal's former bully, and meeting the antagonist responsible for their powers, Dr. C.J. Hatch. If you like action, sci-fi, and conspiracies, this book will be perfect for you. 10/10. 5y

#2 The Alchemist is about teenagers Josh and Sophie Newman, as they find out the owner of the book shop Josh works at is not at all what he seems. Nicholas Flamel is an immortal alchemist/magician from the medieval ages. His bookshop is attacked by Dr. John Dee, as he steals the book of Abraham the Mage (the source of Mr. Flamel's Immortality) in an attempt to bring back an evil race known as the Dark Elders. In a race against the clock, They must

creampiss (Had to finish in the comments) defeat Dee and rescue Nicholas' wife Perenelle, all before Nicholas dies of old age without his immortality. If you like mysterious fantasy books that you can't stop reading, this is the one for you. The pacing of this book is rather slow at first, but it picks up eventually and has some pretty fast-paced battles. 5y
MissYaremcio Great review Rylan! Keep up the good work! 5y

MiNRS is about young Christopher Nichols, as his life is ruined as his home planet is bombed. Christopher moved to Perses as a young boy, and lived there for years. But as a communications blackout with Earth nears, the planet is bombed and almost everyone dies. The surviving children's lives are thrown into turmoil as they must survive in the mines, stealing food from the bombers to survive.
If you like sci-fi and secrets, you'll love this book.

creampiss I ran out of characters lol, I will include the other stuff here- Mood: Somber but Exited. Tone: Sad but Accepting. Style: Descriptive & Narrative. (edited) 5y
MissYaremcio You really nailed the summary of the book Rylan! Great job! Make sure to add a picture next time :) 5y

The Hobbit | J.R.R. Tolkien

In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.

MrsBabki Did you like this book? I was forced to read it in grade 9. Almost killed me. Maybe because it was a forced reading - I don‘t know. Should I try again as an adult? 5y

This book was AMAZING. Sci-fi elements are great and the personalities are fantastic!

Cfischbuch It‘s a great first book, I loved the cliffhanger ending, intriguing storyline, believable characters, and loads of action. You should think of trying Nyxia as your next trilogy. 6y
