Ummm. This comic is totally insane! Full of sex humor and snark. And bank robbery! Don‘t read on the bus to work.

Matt Fraction is a great writer. But, I just couldn‘t get into Iron Man. I just find him to be annoying. Read the first arc and stopped. Highly recommend if you are into Iron Man. Pick up another Matt Fraction if you are not.
The snarky fake ads in this book alone are worth the read. Book is about a future in which non-compliment women are shipped off to a prison planet. The dialogue is brilliant, but the story can be a bit hard to follow. I‘m going to give this another read in a few months.
Frank Miller‘s Daredevil origin story. Classic. There is a lot packed into this story. Highly recommend.
Classic man-returns-to-despised-hometown story. Excellent dialogue. The art is not my favorite, but it certainly projects the vibe of the backdrop.
Solid mystery comic set in Portland. The lead is a female private eye with a gambling problem. This is basically Jessica Jones without superpowers.
I am doing the same review for all three volumes. Highly recommend. If you like stories about families in dying/dead towns (e.g. Empire Falls) you will enjoy this. The added ghost elements make it even better. The art is excellent but may not be everyone‘s cup of tea.

This begins Miller‘s definitive run on Daredevil. Must read for any Daredevil fan. Miller didn‘t take over writing until issue 168, which starts the back third of the book. On the initial two-thirds of the book, Miller was just penciler and/or co-writer. While those issues are fun, they are still too campy for my taste. I would recommend skimming or ignoring those issues, and starting with 168. The corgi wanted to read some after his bath.
Closes out All Star Superman. This arc gets too weird for my taste. The Bizarro subplot was painful to read. Glad I read it though. The art in both volumes is fantastic.
Before Blankets, I‘d yet to read a book that so accurately captured the feelings of my childhood. It was a bit unsettling. But, it made me feel a little less alone in the world. The only criticism that I have is that the ending was a bit flat.
This is my first Superman. This is also the first Grant Morrison comic that I liked. The Superman character reads very one note to me. But, Morrison makes Superman colorful and funny.
Fast paced, gritty crime tale. You don‘t fall in love with any of the characters because you are not supposed to.
