Latest charity shop find, £1.75!
I've heard this is a particularly good book, with a really interesting concept - according to the blurb, a virus wipes out all the men on the planet leaving just females, with males thought to be extinct until the main character River meets one.
Anyone read this before?

pickSeries was recommended to me by my dad, and thoroughly enjoyed it. No spoilers here, it's too good!
pickReally enjoyed this! I'd wanted to read something by this author for a long time, and several people recommended Americanah to me, so thought this was a good place to start.
It was interesting to have the contrasting lives of the two main characters, Ifemelu and Obinze. I wasn't sure where the story would lead but I was quite glad to see they did meet again towards the end and didnt keep diverging on their different paths.
pickLOVED THIS, really readable and explains history, politics, and science in a way that is accessible to anyone. Really clear structure and explains his points in a logical, unbiased way.
Currently reading the follow up, Homo Deus, and expecting good things.
