I rarely give 5 stars, but this book truly deserves them all.

Flowing text, suspense, plot twists, but also heartbreaking love will give life to a story capable of keeping you glued until the last page.

Full of plot twists. The book is made up of at least 5 completely different situations which, as the story progresses, intertwine creating 2 main events, perfectly connected to each other.
Although I found it boring at times, the text is very smooth and pleasant to read.

It has a lot of potential. There is the escape of the daughter and the mystery of the kidnapping and murder of a little girl. Too bad that the story revolves purely around the working world of the protagonist. I read 136 pages and it was like I stayed on page 1. It's one of the few I couldn't finish it.

The book presents itself as a thriller, but it is full of scenes and references of a sexual nature that you can define as an erotic book.
I like the writer's style, but for almost the entire story I had the feeling that he wanted to save the protagonist at all costs, making the story unbelievable.

The plot takes place around the mysterious fire of an old manor in Starvel Hollow. Here, Inspector French of Scotland Yard is called to investigate. Too many pages concerning the detective's thoughts, leaving all the other characters on the sidelines. Personally, in a mystery novel, I love to compete with the detective to find the killer before him, but this book didn't leave much chance for the imagination.

The protagonist is a woman with a strong personality, a real warrior. The story is heartbreaking, the text is well described.
This book is one of the few that made me cry.
The English version is "Flowers over the Inferno."
