Honestly, it was a bit of work to get through but I‘m really glad I stuck it out. It‘s a crazy, sad, compelling story that has affected our nation. Interesting to see the way the opioid epidemic started and spread.

I cheated and got the audio book but really enjoyed that it was read by the author. While some of it seemed a little too out there for me to grasp, the majority was super enjoyable. Her style is so dry, it had me laughing out loud. The letters to her father hit hard, in a beautiful way. And the letter to her young daughter‘s future boyfriend was perfect!
