An instant new favorite. I am not a huge Romance reader, but this got me so good. I had to reread it instantly. If you like hate-to-love romances with well written tension, this is definitely worth checking out!

This is set in Nigeria, and because of that it offers such a unique perspective. I loved all the cultural aspects that drove the story and I also loved the political background. The mainc characters were so flawed and made some bad decisions, but you always felt for them and rooted for them throughout the novel. A very powerful read which I highly recommend!
