Pickpick

This was a great read. New characters that hadn‘t been mentioned much before. I‘m a huge fan of Nalini Singh and the whole Psy/Changeling universe. Definitely recommend!!

Okay, so I finally decided to start reading Game of Thrones. I‘ll also admit that I have never watched the show, so I wasn‘t sure what to expect. So far it‘s pretty good. Fingers crossed I can finish in the time left on my library loan.

Pickpick

This is the second book in the Soulwood series and while I like the characters, this book wasn‘t quite as good as the first. There was a lot of back and forth and round and round with the plot that made it more difficult to really enjoy. I hope the third book is better. Overall I would recommend.

I watched the movie before reading the book, so I was expecting to like the book. I loved it, but the ending was jarring when it just stopped with no resolution. I guess I‘ll hav to get my hands on the next one. Definitely recommend!

I really liked this book. It was a quick and and easy read and while there was a happy ending, the resolution was nice and not overly convenient. Definitely recommend!!

I don‘t know how I missed this book because I only found it when I read a blurb about the second book in the series. I thought it was good though it was a bit jarring with the time jumps. The characters and descriptions were very good and I am looking forward to reading book 2.

This was a great romantic read. I loved the characters and the buildup. Excellent!!💖💖

KateFulfordAuthor If you like the narrative style of that, may I recommend my debut? Sassy female protagonist, tightly wound plot and humour. See my bio for all the links you need. 6y

This was a book club pick and at first I found it difficult to get into. The format was a little daunting at first with the different perspectives and reports, briefings and IM‘s. But after about fifty pages I couldn‘t put it down. This is a great read with some truly unexpected twists. I can‘t wait to read the next book in the series!

I have a lot of feelings about this book. It was a great read, but I don‘t like how the ending was so neatly sewn together in very few pages. Definitely recommend though.

I am loving the Binti series! I just finished book 2 and it ended abruptly, so I‘m scrambling to find book 3. I would definitely recommend this series!

A Hope Divided | Alyssa Cole

This was a really good book that mixed the history of the Civil War time period with a growing romance between two unlikely partners. I really wish that the ending was a little more developed, but maybe that‘s just because I wanted to live longer in the story. I would recommend!!

I‘ve been hearing about Nnedi Okorafor and her books for a while and only just got around to reading Binti. When I picked up the book from the library, I was surprised at how thin the book is. But the story was excellent, surprising and unexpected. I loved this book! I‘m hooked on Okorafor‘s writing and I can‘t wait to read more.
