Finished my sixth re-read of this novel. It's a book that looks at so many ideas within it, it is probably impossible to sum it up with a short character count, but I'll try. It shows the issues of childhood really are the same as in adulthood. Though our fears may change, the fact that they all stem from our childhood shows the influence and importance of the people we know, whether we like them or not. It is twisted in places but it has heart.
