A Storm of Swords | George R. R. Martin

I'm liking the book, the story is very interesting, but I'm starting to worry, because I know the story still isn't finished so there isn't going to be a resolution to the story for a long time.

This book is set in Boston, so when it referenced places that I have been to, I thought it was really neat and made the book more enjoyable.

Game of Thrones | George R R Martin

I think the writing style of this book is pretty good, I like how it switches perspectives each chapter so it can tell multiple stories at once. However, all the characters that have their names start with “ser“ are very hard to tell apart so I don't always know who the book is referring to.

1984 | George Orwell

The presentation on the book 1984 reminded me of the ideas presented and it made me want to reread it. I read it a while ago so I don't remember everything that happened, but I remember it being good.

There isn't really any antagonist in this story, it is just about the main characters life, there isn't really any explict goal that someone is stopping him from achieving. Maybe his dad could be considered an antagonist because the main characters parents got divorced and he doesn't really like his dad.

Charming as a Verb | Ben Philippe

There are two main conflicts in this book, character vs character and character vs society. The first conflict is the main character being blackmailed by another character because they scam people by making a fake website and company so that people will hire them to walk their dogs and the other conflict is that they want go get into their dream college, Columbia University.

Pickpick

This book is very enjoyable, the characters are really interesting. I'm very excited to see where the book goes. My favorite character is the Don, because its very interesting to hear about how he built his empire and how he is is going to deal with the challenges he faces.

I think the barber should have killed the general, because it would have saved lives in the future, because it is very likely that the general would continue to hunt down and kill more rebels. By killing him now he would both cause the regime trouble and slow them down. The general already knew he was a rebel so there is nothing to gain by letting him live.

This book is alright so far, there are a lot of characters being introduced and I am having trouble remembering who is who. Its about this guy in the army during WW2 who doesn't want to have to fly dangerous bombing runs anymore but he is trapped by catch 22, which is basically the idea that you would have to be insane to want to keep risking your life by flying these missions but if you ask to stop then you must be sane and have to stay.
