I'm a slow reader, it's true, but I read..

"But the real difficulty is, I feel dwarfed by our lives. They loom disproportionately large. We painted on a broader canvas than we deserved.."

Journey, not the story. This one here will take you too long, or you are not really reading it. It won't give you an answer in the end, just as it has not given Jasper any.. it's all about the head-banging process of figuring out.. or maybe the realisation that there's no figuring out.

What a ride! Made me laugh out loud throughout. Never thought I would relate to the character of a robot more than that of humans. What a ride!

I've never before been able to relate to any character like I did with Selin. Could not count the number of times The Idiot made me laugh out loud. Go for it if you are a student. Totally go for it if you are a confused student. Go for it if you are one of those people who (unfortunately) never seems to have an opinion on things.

Remember my party! Remember my party!

Even if it is a little hard read it will leave you yearning for a little more in the end. But you know a little more would have taken from the beauty. Pain, beauty, the helplessness of it all, 'human nature is on us', would sum it up. Happy ending and right decisions could be a tragedy and vice versa.

Victoriahoperose One of my favorite books ever! 5y

Can't wait to read something that I can actually handle with my hands and not play dumbbells with. Arms, neck, back. Everything hurts.

Sometimes, you know, line by line you are not the same but in a paragraph you are just her. Just the same.

Jacob's Room | Virginia Woolf

A hard read. Couldn't wait to get done with it so I could move on to next yet took so long to finish-_- Felt bad for Bonamy though. Still don't have much of an idea as to Jacob's character.
"The observer is choked with observations" as rightly said by a Wordpress article.
I shouldn't have started with Jacob's Room when I had an entire collection of Woolf and now only a few days left before I have to return the book:(
