Solid detective novel. Well thought out plot, snappy dialogue. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Re-reading my Yarn Harlot collection because I desperately need more laughter. The author delivers a metric ton of giggles every time.
Poirot, like Paris, is always a good idea. I love Christie's short stories best of all.
I laughed until i snorted in an unladylike fashion. Pro-tip: do not drink wine while reading this book, unless you want to snort it while laughing.
At some point this reminded me of Murder on the Orient Express, except different. Still good though, and very twisty.
It took a bit to get going but once all the pieces began to fall into place, it got creepy quickly. A good, solid twisty thriller.
Ok i liked the story. Good pace, good build of suspense and tension. But then you get to the ending...and it shoots itself in the foot. Damnit Julia.
Nice little cozy mystery, with interesting characters and snappy dialogue.
I have read this book so many times since my mother gave it to me long ago on Christmas. Whenever the world is too awful or life is too depressing, I can always find something to smile, laugh and cry about in this book.
Cannot read the spooky book before sleeping, pull out trusty Calvin Trillin collection to avoid dreaming of monsters (at the end of this book😜).
A good spooky mystery that was twisty enough to keep me guessing. Well-structured and good pacing. Very atmospheric with a genuine sense of place. I am now rethinking any desire to go to Vermont.
