Now that I‘ve conquered my library pile again, it‘s back to making progress in my piles of things I own! 😂 Luckily, this breezy read is perfect company for today‘s shift, and I have another waiting in my backpack just in case we‘re slow enough that I make quick work of this one! 😂💖 #bookscanbedeceiving #jennmckinlay #libraryloversmysteries#

Day 13 #Top20series #20series20days I wanted to add a cozy mystery into this game, since at times I love to sit down for awhile, travel to a small town with quirky characters and pets, and naturally read about someone being murdered 😂 My fave cozy author! I love that the protagonist is a librarian and the books are set in and around the library.

This is a fun cozy mystery series. I have read others in this series, out of order, so I‘m going back to read the ones I missed. These are good distractions for me right now. One thing I like is how they weave in the books being read by the “crafternoon” club at the library. This is my third #CozyintheSun book of the month.

Librarybelle I really need to read this series! 4y
Graciouswarriorprincess This is a fun series! 4y
ferskner Did it make sense out of order? 4y
MallenNC @ferskner Yes, though I definitely prefer to read in order. She does a good job of sprinkling in references to previous storylines. 4y

What a cozy mystery! In the past I have never considered myself a reader of this genre- however I needed a good sweet mystery book about books and libraries and found it in this one! Read it in one sitting- can‘t wait to read the rest of the series ! Pair with a tea pot of Savoy Here Be Dragons Green Tea 💚

A pick because I didn‘t see the end coming. But the whole setting up Beth as the killer thing irritated me to no end. And lord almighty, I hate it when authors write severely incompetent law enforcement. My brain just keeps screaming- it wouldn‘t happen that way! Do they get better? This puts me at 3 over my #BFC challenge. Vacay had unexpected reading time, plus I don‘t ever track how much I read so I have no idea where to put a goal.

wanderinglynn Way to crush your book goal! 🙌🏻 5y

Audio cooking and cleaning after one of those days at work. Glad Beth (in the story) stood up for herself fairly quickly! Beths don‘t take things lying down like that! 😂

Avanders 😂😂 I think you should start referring to yourself as Glad Beth. In the 3rd person. 👏🏽👏🏽 5y
BethM @Avanders I may be called many things but Glad Beth has probably never been one of them 😂 5y

I had this sitting on my ereader for quite some time and read it as an in-between book. But I liked it a lot more than I expected! A very nice #cozymystery set at a little coast town and the main characters are librarians. What more do you want?

1. U.S.
2. Hmmm... not sure. There are plenty of places I'd love to visit but living would come after the visiting
3. Tagged book takes place in Connecticut
4. I think anything fried would count, I live in Cincinnati so that would have to be Skyline chili (I've never had it)
5. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ to all Littens!

If you're a fan of cozy mysteries, this may be a delight for you! It was a little too cozy for my tastes. I did enjoy the library and library board sections of the book. Overall, not a bad light/quick read.

Finished this one last night. It was a really good cozy mystery and I am definitely going to get book #2. At the end of the book, it has some fun pages that relate to the story, like Sully's hot chocolate recipe, a knitting pattern used during the Crafternoon at the Briar Creek Library, a clam chowder recipe, and more. I highly recommend this one if you like cozy mysteries. Plus, all the characters love books!

As the steward of two Little Free Libraries and a life long library lover, I had to read this book when a recommendation came up from another steward. I enjoy a mystery and although I would consider it this a little bit more fluff than anything else, it was still a good story and a good break from some of the meatier reading I've been doing lately. 😊📖📚

I'm not much of a cozy mystery reader (I prefer my mysteries with a bit more teeth and fewer pun names, personally) but they sure make good comfort reads. Plus, look at the chapter headings on these Library Lover's Mysteries!

This is book 1 of the library lovers mystery series. I'm not a big cozy mystery reader but I quite enjoyed this book. Also helps that relate to the main character, a small town librarian. I think I'll try the other books in the series. Quick but fun read.

Only 5 1/2 hours in--I'm so behind and I'm a slow reader anyway, but just finished my first book of the day! This was a fun cozy mystery! I can't relate much to the main character strangely enough, but I like the little coastal town and the fact that you suspect but don't know for sure who the killer is until the last few chapters. And yum, clam chowder and hot chocolate (not together)! #24in48

WordWaller Your snacks/food sound LOVELY. And hey, I'm behind too! Way to go on finishing your first book! 8y

You know, I think I'd overlook the murder rate to live in a cozy mystery town and have cozy mystery friends. Just finishing this one on audio. It's a solidly *good* cozy, *good* first in a series. Nothing too exciting or too stand-out about it, but it is a nice relaxing read or in my case - listen.
