Volume four of Rucka/Lark's amazing dystopian thriller Lazarus ends with an insane cliffhanger. The way there is a greatly paced story that is full of both action and political power games. This book is among my favorites at the moment.

This led me to Stel Caine, the eternal optimist who holds out hope against all odds. A perfect fit for this far-future tale of humanity at its lowest point. A perfect character to examine the notion that it's not what happens in life that defines us, but how we choose deal with it. – Rick Remender
Anything with Brian K Vaughan's name on it will come with high expectations. This book really delivered. Retro nostalgia, girls kicking ass, supernatural mysteries all told with great storytelling, dialogue and brilliantly brought to life by Cliff Chiang's artwork.
