I've been stuck for a while but I am finally moving with it! I loved the second book, but the first one was kind of meh. Let's see how this trilogy will conclude.

I don't know how I feel about this book. I'm enjoying it, there's tons of action and I'm a fan of Marie Lu's writing. But I feel like this has the same issue Leigh Bardugo's Wonder Woman had (although I liked that one as well) - the twist is obvious and the villain is kinda weak, in the sense that I can't connect and understand the character. At least the motivation is solid here. Well, 50 pages left, we'll see.

This book is so. good! I honestly couldn't put it down. Lou is such a compelling, funny character and I loved her sarcastic, intelligent voice. And Reid, although sometimes righteous, is a sweetheart and so pure! The romance, the magic, the French-like world and atmosphere pulled me right in and I was hooked. There were a lot of good twists here and the book ends with a bang. I can't wait for the next installment!

UGH, this book is soo addictive! I stayed up till almost dawn and am almost done.

So, this was intense! I have all sorts of theories about Madeline and the Nightwalkers #BatmanNightwalker

I swear I was just casually browsing the bookstore to pass the time...but then I found this little gem hiding and I HAD to take it home! Ugh, I shouldn't buy more books, but who am I kidding?
